A small peak for today.
Katrin had sore muscles due to her leg-week and I was having massive back-pain for the last two weeks and wanted to ensure to not make things worse again now that it was getting better, therefore we decided to walk up this small peak as it was still missing on my list and it seemed ideal to still get a nature getaway somehow.
We followed path 734 starting from the bridge between the villages of Mugena and Vezio until we reached Alpe di Coransù at 1130 meters, after that a steep gravel street on the left brings you up to Sasso which basically is the lowest point of the Ridge coming down from Monte Magno. This path is explained in the official guides of the CAS (Swiss Alpine Club) at page 482 of the 5th volume; the peak itself is listed at page 484.
As said before, this "peak" is not a real challenge and is more an easy nature getaway for an afternoon. In fact, on top we decided that we would run down from it and therefore even got our little trail-run dose for the day which was great :-).. well it seems that the physical problems are solved now..
