Third one of todays 10 peaks hike (Camusio-Cima Torrione-Motto Rotondo-Monte Gradiccioli-Monte Pola-Sasso della Gallina-Monte Magno-Monte Magino-Zottone-Poncione di Breno).
To reach this peak we chose a special way up instead of the obvious/normal one, which passes on "Cima Manera". In fact, we first walked to Alpe Duragno in order to hike the Camusio-Cima Torrione-Motto Rotondo Ridge (Path 711 at page 456 in the official guides of the Swiss Alpine Club (vol 5. Guida delle prealpi ticinesi) which turned out to be amazing and will probably from now on be our standard way to walk up Monte Tamaro.
Fun fact of the day (and i will repeat it on every peak-page of today's hike;-) ) : we didn't reach neither Monte Tamaro nor Monte Lema today, as the goal was to hike new peaks located between the two main mountains of this big and famous ridge. If you want to come up here, please ensure that you visit them, they are both beautiful!
The Motto Rotondo (also known as "Ul Mött Tund") is a beautiful mountain located exactly between the Sopra-and the Sottoceneri giving the hiker a great view of both most famous cities of this Region (Locarno and Lugano) as well as of both major lakes (Lago Maggiore and Lago Ceresio).
Level: T3+ (711 is completely off path from Cima Torrione with some very steep and pretty exposed sections)
