Motto della Croce (CH) - 1 255 meters

Fourth and last one of today's 4 peaks hike (Motto d'Arbino - Sasso Guidà - Motto della Conca - Motto della Croce).

Motto della Croce was the perfect last peak for this hike today and is that kind of peak which could be visited also on its own when there is not much time, giving you what you expect (and more) from a nature getaway.

We hiked down path 125 explained on page 206 in the Swiss Alpine Club guide (vol 5, Guida delle prealpi ticinesi) which basically would be the one which connects this summit to Motto d'Arbino.

There is an explanation of Motto della Croce on page 209 and is definitively more than worth to be visited (as you can see in the pictures below).

We walked back down to Monti di Ravecchia on path 130, which is the mountain village from which we started 5 hours earlier.

A lot of potential profile pics today.. what a day! 

Having said that, I'm pretty sure that in summer this peak is very crowded. Empty today!
