Third one of today's 4 peaks hike (Motto d'Arbino - Sasso Guidà - Motto della Conca - Motto della Croce).
This was by far the least interesting peak of the day. I would even say that the word "peak" is definitely too much for this one. In the guides of the Swiss Alpine Club (vol 5, Guida delle prealpi ticinesi) it's actually mentioned in path 126 from Monti di Daro to the Motto d'Arbino as a side-peak at page 207 and therefore became an objective of my hiking career (big words.. :-) ).. but in all honesty I don't understand why it's mentioned.
The Motto della Conca is in fact a hill which rises up in the middle of the woods for more or less 25 meters and is also visible from the city of Bellinzona..that's probably the reason why it got a little mention in the guides.
No views but a quite hard and beautiful descent to it through the woods (picture nr. 5), many leafs on the ground and therefore a lot of hidden stones and slippery situations. To be honest though it makes no sense to come here if it's not for a peakbagging kind of reason, we only went because it's mentioned/highlighted in the guides.
Level T2+ (pretty steep when walking down from Alpe d'Arbino and path not always visible, some exposed sections)
