Fourth one of todays 10 peaks hike (Camusio-Cima Torrione-Motto Rotondo-Monte Gradiccioli-Monte Pola-Sasso della Gallina-Monte Magno-Monte Magino-Zottone-Poncione di Breno).
The Monte Gradiccioli is the highest mountain on the Tamaro-Lema Traverse (after the Monte Tamaro itself) and is a quite massive mountain when seen from the bottom of the valley as well as from further away, it clearly stands out from the ridge due to higher prominence compared to the other mountains around it.
The views are breathtaking as from here you get a good 360° view of the surroundings (we could even see the first smaller skyscrapers of Milan).
There are a lot of possible ways to walk up this peak and the one we chose is probably the most obvious one. We walked up path 723 which is explained at page 468 in the official guides of the Swiss Alpine Club (vol 5. Guida delle prealpi ticinesi) and it's the one which needs to be taken when doing the big traverse from North to South.
The path is pretty steep at some points but is always very clear without any particular difficulties.
