This is the officially 2nd-smallest mountain in the region Ticino, it's listed as such in the official guides of the CAS (Club Alpino Svizzero) at page 511 of the 5th volume (Guida alle prealpi ticinesi).
We drove to the village of Agra and parked our car near the church, from there we could easily walk up from the northern access. We only had one hour of time after it finally stopped raining (in November) and this mini-summit just seemed right to quickly go outside.
From Agra it's an easy hike of not even half an hour which can be done very easily.
I'm sure that there probably is a way which starts from the bottom of Collina d'Oro, but having said that, this mountain is full of paths and the whole place is more like a nature park for an easy sunday walk with your kids or the dog than anything else. Moreover it's only at the top where you really feel like being in the woods and "away" as on the rest of the "mountain" there are villages and concrete.
We just just walked up to it because it was shown as a summit in the guide (even if already in the Guide Mr. Brenna writes that this type of mountain is completely out of what the purpose of hiking in his guides is) but as it's listed as an official mountain and It had to be done :-)... all of them have to be done! This also explains the really poor Route you will find below. But yes.. I'll link this one too ;-) it had to be bagged.
