First Peak (out of 7) on our big traverse up to Punta Negra.
Traverse: (Föisc-Pian Alto-Camoghé-Pizzo Tom-Pizzo Stabbiello-Poncioni Negri-Punta Negra).
Amazing view, and pretty easy to reach, perfect also for a short nature-getaway as only peak of the day.
Our route came up from the Ritom Lake (South-East); it's pretty steep and completely on hiking paths without exposed
sections.
We followed the paths 235 (From Piora) and 238 (from Bocchetta di Föisc) explained
in the official guides of the CAS (Swiss Alpine Club), pages 198 and 200 of the 3rd volume (Guida delle alpi ticinesi, dal Passo San Gottardo al Pizzo
di Claro).
As can be seen below in the pictures, we also hiked it in winter and did some ski-mountaineering here. Amazing day too, in fact there we came up the other way
starting from the village of Brugnasco.
